Placement Committee

The Placement Committee looks into tasks like student brochure development, resume wrting, pitching, student’s skills-job mapping and placement related event organizing. A Placement Officer is responsible for bringing a company’s hiring process to fruition with precision and accuracy. Placement officers have a combination of clerical and recruitment skills and are responsible for finding and matching the right positions with the right people. Campus placement, also known as campus recruitment, is when companies come to college campus, conduct interviews, and hire candidates to work in your company. These campus placements are arranged for by your college, which invites all the best possible companies to recruit from their students. Committees involve members in the development and delivery of services, represent member opinion in decision-making, and help serve member needs through interaction. They also offer the opportunity for group problem-solving and can be a forum for presenting multiple points of view.

Event: Soft Skill Seminar by Smile Foundation

Date: 25th July, 2025

 

On 25th July 2025 at 9:00 AM, the Placement Committee organized a seminar for BMS, BSc IT, and BCom students, conducted by Smile Foundation. The session was delivered by Mr. Shivam Dixit, Soft Skill Trainer and Counsellor, who provided detailed information about the foundation and its skill development programs. He explained that Smile Foundation offers Soft Skill Training, Basic Computer Course, and English Speaking Course with a duration of two months. After successful completion, students receive a certificate and placement assistance. The foundation has connections with various employers, providing good job opportunities for students to improve their skills and build their careers. At the end of the seminar, pamphlets containing complete course details and contact information were distributed to all students

Event: Bajaj finance limited Seminar

Date: 11th September, 2025

The seminar was very fruitful and students willingly give their names for the internship program offered by Bajaj finance, and we are looking forward to them in future. Bajaj finance company arranged a seminar for students of BCom BMS and BSCIT. The main purpose of the seminar was to make students aware about the internship opportunity available in the market and need of internship. Bajaj finance also made sure to give opportunity for placement in future for the third year students. Seminar was arranged on 11 September 2025 in seminar Hall College campus at 10 AM. The Aditya Raj Singh was the speaker in the seminar and he guided students in the perfect scenario of the market and gave them insights about pros and cons of corporate life.

 

Event: Workshop on “Resume Building and linked in Profile”

Date: 15th September, 2025

The session began with an introductory note by the organizers, followed by a welcome address.Mr. Akash Yadav then conducted an engaging and interactive workshop, explaining the step-by-step process of writing resumes, highlighting common mistakes, and demonstrating how LinkedIn can be used as a tool for networking and career growth. Practical examples and live demonstrations were provided to help students apply the knowledge immediately.

 

Event: Job Fair

Date: 9th February, 2026

 

The Placement Committee, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a Job Fair for the academic year 2025–26 on 9th February 2026 to enhance the employ-ability and career opportunities of graduating students. The Job Fair was organized for the students of B.Com, BMS, and B.Sc. IT. A total of 10 reputed companies participated in the event, represented by their Human Resource Managers, who visited the college to recruit students for various entry-level and professional positions. The Job Fair commenced at 8:00a.m. in the college seminar hall. Students enthusiastically participated in the event, arriving well-prepared in formal attire and carrying their resumes. The recruitment process included resume screening, personal interviews, and interaction sessions with HR professionals. The event provided students with valuable exposure to real-time interview processes and corporate expectations. The Job Fair was successfully conducted in a disciplined and professional manner, with active coordination from faculty members and the placement team.

Event: Career Guidance Seminar

Date: 18th February, 2026

Career Guidance Seminar was conducted on 18th February,2026 at  College for the Third Year BMS students. The seminar was organized by the Placement Committee with the objective of guiding students about career opportunities and professional growth. The session was delivered by Dr. Sakshi Khatri and Asst. Prof. Dilip Jain, who shared valuable insights on career planning, industry expectations, higher education options, and skill development. The speakers motivated students to identify their strengths, enhance their competencies, and make informed career decisions. The seminar was interactive and highly beneficial for all the attendees. Overall, the session was informative and helped students gain clarity regarding their future career paths.

Internship Interviews – Cunix InfoTech Pvt. Ltd. – 3rd September 2024

The Placement Department invited Cunix InfoTech Pvt. Ltd. to conduct interviews for internship opportunities. Cunix Infotech is a globally recognized Elite CMMI Institute Partner (ISACA) and a leading management and business process consulting organization. The interview process was conducted smoothly, and selected students were shortlisted for internship programs. The department ensured equal opportunities for students seeking jobs or training across various fields.

Orientation Program by Poonam Courier Services – 30th September 2024

Nirajana Majithia College of Commerce organized an orientation program for students of B.Com, BMS, and B.Sc. IT, conducted by Poonam Courier Services, a proprietorship firm established on 01 October 2020, engaged in courier and postal services. The session was conducted by Parasar Pandya Sir, who explained the company’s services, work culture, and career opportunities. Students were offered internships with stipend, immediate joining, and full-time job opportunities.

Career Seminar by Kotak Education Foundation – 7th December 2024

A career guidance seminar was organized for First Year, Second Year, and Third Year students, conducted by the Kotak Education Foundation, an organization working in the field of education and employability for over a decade. The seminar provided valuable insights into career planning, goal setting, and opportunities in the banking and financial sector. Students expressed enthusiasm and pride in learning from such a reputed organization.

Placement Seminar by Career Managers – 17th February 2025

The Placement Committee organized a placement-oriented seminar conducted by Career Managers Company. The seminar was led by the head of the organization, who shared valuable insights on industry requirements and placement preparedness. Students gained practical knowledge about career planning and strategies to secure placements. At the end of the seminar, the resource person was felicitated by Shadab Shaikh Sir with a letter of appreciation.

 

Placement Drive – 13 March 2025

A Placement Drive was organized on 13 March 2025 for students of First Year, Second Year, and Third Year Degree College. Several companies from diverse sectors such as Information Technology, Commerce and Management, Sales, and Marketing participated in the recruitment process. Students were instructed to attend the interviews in formal attire and carry their resumes.

The program was honored by the presence of the Managing Trustee Shri Jayesh Majithia Sir, Zaveri Sir, Principal Dr. Reshma Vaja, and Vice Principal Dr. Shweta Kumar. Students enthusiastically participated and successfully faced the interview process. The drive was conducted smoothly from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by lunch and refreshments for the recruiters.

The entire event was efficiently coordinated by the Placement Committee Convener, Shadab Shaikh Sir, and the Placement Drive 2025 concluded successfully.

Outcomes:
