Placement Committee
The Placement Committee looks into tasks like student brochure development, resume vetting, pitching, student’s skills-job mapping and placement related event organizing. A Placement Officer is responsible for bringing a company’s hiring process to fruition with precision and accuracy. Placement officers have a combination of clerical and recruitment skills and are responsible for finding and matching the right positions with the right people. Campus placement, also known as campus recruitment, is when companies come to college campus, conduct interviews, and hire candidates to work in your company. These campus placements are arranged for by your college, which invites all the best possible companies to recruit from their students. Committees involve members in the development and delivery of services, represent member opinion in decision-making, and help serve member needs through interaction. They also offer the opportunity for group problem-solving and can be a forum for presenting multiple points of view.
