The Library Department Committee plays a vital role in supporting the academic, cultural, and intellectual development of students and staff. Through various academic, literary, and awareness-based activities, the committee encourages reading habits, promotes effective use of library resources, and aligns library services with national and international commemorative days. The committee actively organizes exhibitions, orientation programmes, competitions, and reading initiatives to enhance knowledge dissemination and lifelong learning.

Granth Parichay Exhibitiob-1
Occasion: International Yoga Day
Date: 21/06/2025
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the Library Department organized Granth Parichay Exhibition –1 on 21st June 2025. The exhibition focused on promoting awareness about yoga, health, and well-being through library resources.
A book exhibition was organized from 21st June 2025, in which books were displayed on selected themes related to Yoga. The books were curated from the online and available library collection to provide authentic and informative content to students.
A total of 25 students actively participated in the activity. Students read various books related to yoga practices, philosophy, and health benefits. After reading, students prepared activity reports, which helped them understand the importance of yoga in maintaining physical and mental well-being.
Library Orientation Program
Date : 21/07/2025
Library had organized Orientation Programme on 21st July, 2025 at 10:30 am In Seminar Hall. The lecture was about how to make member of Library & how to use of library material what is rules and regulation of library, How to use of e-resources of Library . The lecture was for 1 hour and was attended by 39 students. It helped in own study for all students.
Book Bank Facility
Date: 10 August 2025
The Library Department implemented the Book Bank Scheme on 10 th August 2025 with the objective of supporting needy and economically weaker students in their academic pursuits.
Under this scheme, the Library Committee identified and selected Two (2) deserving students from Degree courses. Each selected student was provided with a complete set of prescribed textbooks required for their syllabus. The books were issued to the students for the entire academic year, up to their annual examination, ensuring uninterrupted access to study materials. This initiative aimed to reduce the financial burden on students and promote equal learning opportunities.
Book Exhibition

The Library Department organized a Book Exhibition on 13 th August 2025 with the objective of creating awareness among students about the world of information and knowledge available through books and library resources.
The exhibition showcased a variety of books covering different subjects, including academic, reference, and general knowledge materials. The aim was to motivate students to explore diverse sources of information and to develop a habit of reading beyond the prescribed curriculum.
A total of 30 students visited the book exhibition and actively interacted with the displayed books. The exhibition provided an opportunity for students to understand the importance of books in academic growth and lifelong learning.
Granth Parichay Exhibitiob-2
Occasion: Gandhi Jayanti
Date: 02 October 2025
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the Library Department organized Granth Parichay Exhibition – 2 on 2nd October 2025 to commemorate the life and teachings of Mahatma K. Gandhi.
A book exhibition was conducted from 02nd to 30 th October 2025, during which books were displayed on selected themes related to Mahatma Gandhi, such as his life, philosophy, non-violence, truth, and freedom movement. The books were curated from the online and available library collection.
A total of 30 students actively participated in the activity by reading books related to M. K. Gandhi. The exhibition helped students understand Gandhi an values and their relevance in contemporary society.
Group Reading Activity
Date: November 2025
The Library Department organized a (Group Reading Activity) in November 2025 to promote reading habits and multilingual literacy among students.
During this activity, students engaged in reading books in Marathi, Hindi, and English. A total of 16 students actively participated and explored a variety of literary works across these languages. The activity aimed to enhance language skills, foster appreciation for literature, and encourage collaborative learning.
Online Quiz Competition On “Indian Constitution”
Date: 26 November 2025
On the occasion of Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas), the Library Department organized an Indian Constitution Quiz Competition on 26th November 2025 with the objective of creating awareness among students about the Indian Constitution, its values, and fundamental duties.
The quiz competition was designed to test students’ knowledge regarding constitutional provisions, rights, duties, and the functioning of Indian democracy. A total of 30 students actively participated and solved the quiz on the Indian Constitution.
The activity helped students gain a better understanding of constitutional values and encouraged responsible citizenship.
