Hindi Language Club – Departmental Committee

“Hindi Language Club” is the official departmental committee dedicated to promoting the richness, beauty, and cultural heritage of the Hindi language. The club aims to create an engaging platform where students can explore, learn, and celebrate Hindi beyond the classroom.

It serves as a student-faculty body formed with the vision of encouraging linguistic excellence, cultural awareness, and creative expression through Hindi. The club plays a significant role in organizing language-based and cultural activities that strengthen communication skills, confidence, and appreciation for Indian literature and traditions.

Throughout the academic year, the Hindi Language Club conducts various co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as poetry recitations, debates, essay competitions, storytelling sessions, literary discussions, cultural programs, and celebration of important Hindi literary days.

Objectives:

  1. To promote the use and appreciation of Hindi languagethrough literary and cultural activities.
  2. To enhance communication and public speaking skillsin Hindi through debates, speeches, and recitation competitions.
  3. To encourage creative expressionthrough poetry writing, storytelling, essay writing, and dramatics.
  4. To create awareness about Hindi literature and renowned writersthrough seminars, discussions, and celebration of literary events.

Event: Hindi Divas Kavita Pratyogita (Poetry Competition)

The Hindi Language Club of Niranjana Majithia College of Commerce successfully organized a “Kavita Pratiyogita” (Poetry Competition) to celebrate Hindi Diwas. The event aimed to honor the national language by providing a platform for degree students to engage in literary expression. The competition fostered creativity and celebrated the rich cultural heritage associated with the Hindi language.The event was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Reshma Vaja and Dr. Meena Mashru, the event coordinator. The panel of judges was led by Prof. Shriya Pandit.The competition began with two students delivering speeches to set the tone for the event. Following the speeches, 10 participants presented their poems. After all the presentations, the judges deliberated and announced the results. The winners were awarded with certificates.

The Hindi Diwas – Kavita Pratiyogita was a resounding success, achieving its objectives of promoting the Hindi language, fostering creativity, and building student confidence. The outcomes demonstrate the event’s positive impact on the students and the college community. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, and the Hindi Language Club plans to build on this success by organizing more such literary and cultural events in the future.With a total audience of 24 students, the competition successfully attracted a significant number of participants, indicating a strong interest among students in literary activities. The event served as a catalyst for future engagement in the Hindi Bhasha Club’s initiatives.

Outcomes

  1. Students demonstrate improved reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Hindi.
  2. Students gain confidence and fluency in expressing their thoughts effectively through debates, speeches, and recitations.
  3. Increased participation in poetry, storytelling, essay writing, and dramatics reflects enhanced imagination and literary creativity.
  4. Students develop a deeper understanding of Hindi literature, prominent writers, and literary traditions.

Report 2024-25

Name of the event: Kavita Pratyogita  on Hindi Divas

Date: 14-09-2024

The Hindi Kavita Pratyogita organized for degree students on Hindi Divas  by Hindi language club was a resounding success. Students also presented doha. The main event commenced at 10:00 AM, featuring articulate speeches delivered by degree students. Asst. Prof. Adarsh Dubey, an esteemed authority in Hindi literature, officiated as the judge, evaluating participants on language proficiency, cultural insights, and overall presentation.

The Principal and Vice-Principal graced the occasion, underscoring the significance the institution places on linguistic and cultural activities. Their presence added a touch of prestige to the event, inspiring participants to excel in expressing themselves in Hindi. There were total 8 participants who presented speech. After Presenting, the honourable judge  Asst Prof. Adarsh Dubey declared the scores, though it was almost a tie and we got two 1st position winners Ms. Akanksha Gupta  2nd position; Ms Vinit Tiwari & 3rd position; Mr. ChandrapratapYadav. There were total 8 students who have participated.

The event celebrated Hindi Divas with a focus on degree students, fostering linguistic and cultural awareness. TheKavitaPratyogita created an immersive experience, contributing to the academic and cultural development of degree-level participants. Certificates bestowed upon the winners acknowledged their linguistic proficiency, encouraging continued commitment to the promotion of Hindi language and literature among degree students.

Report for the year 2018-19

The meeting of the Hindi Sahitya Mandal was conducted on 14th July 2018 to elect a secretary and active members.
Dheeraj Sinha was elected as a secretary for the Hindi Sahitya Mandal.

The first event was organized on 31st July 2018, we celebrated Munshi Premchand’s birthday and screening of his famous story Namak Ka Daroga was done in front of the audience.

The second event was Hindi Diwas celebration and poetry reading competition, the competition was won by Amit Pathak

The third event was essay writing competition wherein the students have written essays on the following topics-

  1. Bharat Ke Vikas Mein Vigyan Ki Bhumika
  2. Digital India
  3. Make in India
  4. Pratibha Palayan

First prize was won by Parvati .R.Prajapati of TY BCom, the second prize was won by Priti Chaurasia of TY BMS and third prize was won by Suraj Yadav of SY BSc IT.
